Meetings & Membership The Four Lakes Postcard Club was organized in 1988 by four people who met at a garage sale where one of the people was selling post cards. Membership:   Most of our 30 plus members are from the Madison/southern Wisconsin area but anyone is welcome to join.  Dues are $5 per year. Meetings:   The club meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday at 7:30 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1021 Spaight Street on Madison's east side.  The meetings consist of a short business meeting followed by a show-and-tell discussion on a postcard collecting topic lead by a member.  Members often bring postcards to sell or exchange and we always have interesting conversations on all kinds of postcard related topics. Newsletter:   The Club publishes a brief newsletter once every two months announcing topics for upcoming meetings and locations of upcoming postcard shows in the area. Shows:   Two postcard shows are held in Madison every year.  The Club sponsors a show in mid-January and one of our member/dealers, Joe Stransky, sponsors a show in mid-July. Library:   The Club has put together a collection of postcard books and magazines which are available for loan to members.  The library is open during monthly meetings.
