The Metropolitan Postcard Club of New York City carries on the traditions of the old Metropolitan Post Card Collectors, the oldest continuously run postcard club in the United States since 1946. Not only facilitating the exchange of postcards between collectors and dealers, the club is dedicated to the free exchange of information and ideas to further the understanding of Deltiology. Meetings usually take place on the second Sunday of the month at the Midtown Holiday Inn, 440 West 57th Street, between 9th & 10th Avenues, New York City.
The Taconic Postcard Club, New York's East-of-the-Hudson Postcard Club, was formed in 2002 to give regional postcard collectors the opportunity to share and learn about their hobby. Meetings are the last Tuesday of the month at the Yorktown Museum in the Yorktown Community & Cultural Center,1974 Commerce Street, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598. All TPC programs are free and open to the public.
We are a group of people who collect, buy or sell antique postcards. The majority of our members live in the capital district of New York State, but club membership is open to anyone with an interest in old postcards. There are just 2 meetings per year…the first Saturdays in April and November. Meetings are usually held at a restaurant in the Schenectady/Latham New York area and include a presentation by one of our members.
