Wish you were here: 25,000 vintage postcards go up on Flickr

While we don't envy the intern who had to scan in the Boston Public Library's collection of 25,000 vintage postcards, we do appreciate the effort. The library just uploaded its cache of Tichnor Brothers cards (from the 1940s to the 1960s) to Flickr so we can all enjoy a nostalgic trip through mid-century America -- when men were men, and raccoons played a lot of basketball.
